This graph shows projected reserves per capita of Canadian conventional oil forward to the year 2100. There are no export or consumption rates built into these curves, just the effect of changing population on a static resource. If the resource is drawn down by either domestic consumption or exports, then the barrels available per person will be correspondingly reduced.

Fertility: Total number of children per woman. 2.1 is replacement level.

Immigration: Net immigration as a percentage of the population. Currently in Canada, immigration is running at the 0.8% to 1.0% level.

Cu M of Oil: A cubic metre of oil is approximately equal to 6.3 barrels of oil or close to 1 tonne.
